There is no Teen Wolf Season 7 however there will be a new movie set in the Teen Wolf universe, Teen Wolf: The Movie, featuring many of the same characters. The film is set for a 2022 release on Paramount Plus, the streaming platform of ViacomCBS.

MTV's Teen Wolf executive producer Jeff Davis revealed that Daniel Sharman wanted to leave the show to pursue other creative endeavors, much like co-star Crystal Reed [via E! News]. Sharman wanted a shot at auditions during pilot season, as well as auditioning for movies and generally trying something new.

Stiles' Jeep is a prominent part of 'Teen Wolf: The Movie' The "Not Okay" actor repeatedly stated in interviews that he wouldn't appear, telling Variety in March 2022: "Ultimately, I just decided it was left in a really good place for me and I still want to leave it there."

The series finale of Teen Wolf aired on September 24, 2017, and saw the Beacon Hills gang a few years into the future with a time jump. It begins with Scott waking up in a motel room with a new mission from Argent. Scott ended up saving a teen named Alec from hunters and tells him how his own story ends.
